If content is king, I’m queen

Content IS king, and I feel like its queen

Just a quick update here. I’ve been so busy lately taking clients and working with companies that I’ve sincerely been too busy to blog for myself. As I recommend all indie writers do, I am working my way up to higher-traffic websites. I’ve been invited to contribute to Lifehack.org so I plan to add some of my advice to that website in the coming weeks.

With the all that I do and the way everything in marketing seems to fall on the support of content (original blog posts, videos and infographics that drive traffic from search engine results to websites), I’m feeling incredibly excited about the future. I still have a handful of classes to finish a communication degree with a marketing minor, but I’ve worked hard enough to gain invaluable real-world experience. My freelance business is growing.

I am a journalist, dedicated to the truth in reporting, but passionate about promoting small business. The way I do that is through research and writing content for all kinds of blogs. From health blogs to automotive or any industry, my skills let me flex from one perspective to the next.

If your business could use content for its website, contact me at ellen[@]elleneldridge.com. I will consult with you about your business needs and come up with a fair solution at an affordable price.

I found this on Pinterest and would cite its creator if I could. But if this is 2013, imagine what 2014 will bring.
